At the ForeverLexi Foundation, we believe remembrance is more than reflection—it’s movement, purpose, and change. Through heartfelt programs like our Annual Butterfly Release, we keep Alexis’s spirit alive while honoring others lost to senseless violence. Our scholarships open doors for young people, giving them a future Alexis was denied. And with grief support resources, we offer comfort to families walking through the same heartbreak we know too well.
Every initiative we build is a step toward healing, justice, and connection. These programs are not just projects—they’re promises.
Each year, on July 27th—the day Alexis gained her wings—we host a butterfly release fundraiser. Families gather to honor Alexis and other lives lost to police violence, releasing butterflies as a symbol of hope, transformation, and remembrance.
The event raises funds for our ongoing programs and provides a safe, supportive space for collective healing.
